Fab lunch at Bluebells of Briddlesford

I'm not quite sure how we missed the opening of this lovely little cafe, opened in the Spring, The Bluebells cafe at Briddlesford farm is a little gem!
We visited the farm shop to buy lots of Isle of Wight goodies for family Christmas presents and to take our 2yr old Katie to see the very cute calves and ended up stopping for lunch at this bustling little place. Very welcoming atmosphere and great reasonably priced food.
Mark and I had a burger with a sweet and spicy Thai relish (gorgeous!) and my mum had an Isle of Wight soft cheese, bacon and cranberry sandwich which was huge and reportedly delicious. 2 yr old Katie very much enjoyed the ham and mushroom omelette.
The Christmas dinners looked very nice too. We will definitely go back, a great place to take friends and family and only a 15 minute drive from The Caledon.

Crab and Lobster

We went to the Crab and Lobster in Bembridge yesterday....

Great views out to sea even though it was very stormy!!!

Andrea had Crab cakes which were fantastic and I had a mixed grill....it was enormous and really good; the steak was beautiful!

Great place if a little tricky to get to...it gets super busy in summer so book in advance.
